Under the Jobs tab, click on Job Postings and then Post a Job. You will have the option to choose “Post to this School Only” or “Post to Multiple Schools”. Please click on one of these options to add your posting. You may start a new posting or choose to copy current and/or archived positions in order to save time. Please update the grad dates and other requirements as needed. Hold the control key to make multiple selections (work authorization, majors, etc.). Once submitted, the job will be forwarded to Career Services for approval. When the position is approved, typically within 2 business days, you will receive notification via email.

The default expiration date for job and internship postings is 30 - 60 days. Employers may select an expiration date earlier than the 30 day default; however, KU Career Services will not approve any positions that are posted / reposted with new deadlines multiple times within the 30 days. We recommend that employers log back into HireJayhawks once a posting has expired and extend the deadline if additional applicants are desired. This ensures that our candidates view a variety of opportunities available and the database is up-to-date.

The KU Mentoring platform includes the KU Alumni Job Board. Alumni and friends who have an interest in hiring Jayhawks are welcome to post opportunities to the job board.  Job opportunities on KU Mentoring require a four-year degree and professional work experience. Entry-level positions that would be suitable for undergraduate students should be directed to the HireJayhawks site.

KU Career Services subscribes to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Practice for all recruiting practices, including their policy statement on Reasonable Offer Deadlines. Adherence to the following guidelines is requested of all employers recruiting KU students in order to promote a fair and ethical recruiting process.
